The Bayindeen - Rocky Road fire has burnt approximately 22,000 Ha since Thursday. The fire area can be seen here in the black shaded area. With tomorrow`s conditions expected to be catastrophic & Extreme in the area, fire agencies are very concerned by the potential of this fire, which is Not Yet Under Control.
The long black line which you can see is the predicted impact/spread zone of this fire when conditions worsen early tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 28 February. This fire has significant potential and will endanger lives and property. There are many communities that may be impacted by this fire tomorrow.
If you have loved ones in the area below, please contact them and make sure they have received appropriate advice from the fire agencies, that they have a plan and preferably will be leaving tonight or very early tomorrow morning.
To all those on the line tomorrow, watch your 6, stick to the black, watch the trees, hydrate, communicate, and most importantly, of all... COME HOME SAFE.
